For my
Grandmother’s 90th birthday in 2002, I was
asked to create a video that would chronicle
her 90 years of life.
The entire family, including her children,
grandchildren and great grandchildren, would
be at the party. The video had to be
heartwarming, joyful and memorable.
Essentially, it had to tell her life story
in a time frame that could keep the
attention of everyone from 9 to 90. In less than an hour we saw marriages,
births, new homes, old cars and family
vacations long forgotten. We re-lived
forgotten memories and created wonderful new
ones. Even after the hours spent producing
the video, I was still laughing and crying
along with everyone else as we revisited my
family’s history. That evening I received an
order for 14 copies of the video and
“Keepsake Family Tree Video” was born. |
